Thunder Bay is like any city. It's population is just over 110,000.
I got some fuel for the stove, had lunch and tried to do some shopping. It isn't easy getting around a city you don't know on a bike.
I forgot to mention that after I got set up at Kakabeka Falls I went to view them and they are quite stunning.
Today I stopped to see the Terry Fox monument just off the highway. Quite impressive. And so was he.
I'm staying the night at the KOA campground just East of Thunder Bay. From the highway you can see Lake Superior. There was a freighter at anchor out there deceiving me into thinking I was looking at the ocean.
Another cyclist has just rolled in and is camped beside me. His name is Ken and he is also from Victoria, B.C. sounds like he's done quite a few trips.
Tomorrow I'll try and get some distance ridden further into Ontario.

Sounds like you are still having fun, must be over half way or thereabouts? Had a lovely visit with the family on the weekend, Nan and Darcy stopped by to bring a cake and visit. Jesse and Melissa and Garry's brother Del and his wife Dorothy will be joining us this weekend and then we will be heading west. Hope the weather is good riding weather and that you have a good long weekend, not too much traffic whichever road you chose.
