Val is meeting me here where we will stay at a motel and go out for dinner.
In the morning I'll be up by 5:30 to pack up, eat a bit and head off to catch the first ferry of the day at 7.
The ride here was great. Today's weather was cool and cloudy. I rode the 3 km from our house to the Galloping Goose trail and rode that 8 km and got onto the roads in Metchosin. I then road through Langford and got back on the Goose, the nickname it's known by here, which connects with another multi-use trail, Lochside Trail, and that took me right into Sidney. Piece of cake.
