Today was a short day because I think I needed the rest after yesterday's ride. It's also a short day because tomorrow I would like to get to Princeton which is about 130 km from Hope.
I rode out of Chilliwack on Prairie Central Rd for quite a way and connected with Hwy 9 and then Hwy 7 on the North side of the Fraser River. It was pretty quiet with a wide shoulder. I could'nt see the mountains I'm heading to as it was cloudy all day. Still is.
I rode into Hope at about 1:30 and pedalled over to the tourist information place. I got a road map of B.C. I thought that I wouldn't need one,having lived here all my life, but life is different on a bicycle. I picked up some groceries and got a campsite. I'm going to cook up some dinner after I'm done here.
I hope to be up early in the morning to get on my way.
Time for dinner.
